Taking every step, every step so slow
so we can make it back to a world we know
But every single day, seems like it's floating away
trapped inside, no means of escape

When every day is like yesterday
and tomorrow’s just the same

The news on the phone caught us alone

Faucet Drop
I hear your footsteps walking
on the floor -- before dawn
In the times before, I’d be up,
and you’d be gone
Now we take our time
Sitting side by side
Though the world keep moving
we just stop to rest inside
I never listened enough

I’d brush it all away
Now here we sit
we let the faucet drip
sharing this moment and hoping
